The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee guides and executes AMIA’s strategic goals and objectives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The committee recommends advocacy issues and activities and identifies critical areas for AMIA's strategic advocacy engagement for Board approval. The committee works with AMIA’s policy consultant, staff, and Board to develop annual work plans which support the strategic directions set by the Board.
The purpose of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Steering Committee is to guide and execute strategic goals and objectives related to diversity, equity and inclusion through recommendations approved by the AMIA Board of Directors.
