Public Biography
JaMor is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with degrees in molecular biology and health informatics. He's actively pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at Emory University School of Medicine. Focused on the health applications of data science, AI-NLP, and informatics, his research aims to improve healthcare services and address health disparities. JaMor currently studies topics surrounding maternal mortality in women of color and substance misuse trends through natural language processing. Also, as a data strategist with over a decade in information technology, from a help desk to data science, JaMor has become a skilled leader in health IT. He holds PMP and CPHIMS certifications and is actively involved in professional and social organizations, dedicated to leveraging his expertise for broader community benefits.
