AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium Registration

Full registration fees for members, non-members, and students cover all events except for designated affiliate events and selected special events. Please note the AMIA Conference Policies prior to registering.

Member rates apply to anyone who has a full AMIA membership for 2024.

Speaker

Important: As noted during the submission process, all accepted presenters are required to register for the conference.

If you are presenting at the AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium, the speaker rate will be automatically applied during the registration process, there is not a separate link.

Speaker rates apply to primary authors of all AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium accepted oral presentations, ignite-style talks, systems demonstrations, posters. These rates also apply to all panel and workshop presenters. Speaker rates do not apply to secondary authors. The speaker rate will not apply to the daily registration rate.

Student

Student rates are for full-time students. They do not apply to part-time students. All students MUST present proof of student status including both a photocopy of a current, valid student ID plus a letter from the university/college registrar’s office verifying current full-time enrollment in a degree or post-doctoral program at the time of the AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium

Payment

Online registration allows for individual payment via credit card, electronic check, and digital wallet. If your organization prefers to pay by check please mail to PO Box 412989, Boston, MA 02241-2989. For ACH and wire instructions please contact the Meetings Team or phone 301-657-1291.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing (send request to the AMIA Meetings Department).

  • By Oct. 2, 2024: Full refund minus $75 processing fee.
  • Oct. 3 - Oct. 23, 2024: 50% refund.
  • After October 24, 2024: No refunds will be issued.

Non-Transfer of Paid Registration Policy

AMIA has a Non-Transfer Policy in which paid registrations are non-transferable to another person or to another AMIA meeting.

Special Accommodations

Accommodations can be made for a variety of needs (breastfeeding, dietary, visual, hearing, mobility). Please contact the AMIA Meetings Team as early as possible to discuss your needs.
