Full registration fees for members, non-members, and students cover all events except for designated affiliate events and selected special events.

Important: As noted during the submission process, all accepted presenters are required to register for the conference.
If you are presenting at the AMIA 2023 Annual Symposium, please be sure to choose "Speaker Registration" to ensure that you receive important presenter communications.

Pre-recorded Conference
The pre-recorded virtual conference registration includes access to the recorded presentations during the conference dates. This collection of presentations and slides includes oral presentations, most panels, posters, and were recorded in advance of the live conference. We will also make available slides from keynote presentations when possible.
Registration Types
Member
Member rates apply to anyone who has a full AMIA membership for 2023.
Speaker
Author rates apply to primary authors of all AMIA 2023 Annual Symposium accepted papers, posters, podium abstracts, and system demonstrations, and all panel and workshop presenters. Speaker rates do not apply to secondary authors.
Student
Students must be enrolled in a degree or post-doctoral program at the time of the AMIA 2023 Annual Symposium. Students who graduate/complete their programs before October 30, 2023, are not eligible for the student rates. AMIA reserves the right to request proof of student status at any time between the receipt of registration and the start of the symposium.
Student Nonmember
In order to secure the correct rate, students must input their graduation date within their AMIA account. This information is found under "professional information."
Requirements for Attendance
AMIA requires all attendees and staff will comply with all applicable health and safety laws and directives, as well as any guidelines of AMIA and the hotel, including with respect to face coverings and physical distancing. AMIA’s international guests must follow applicable laws when traveling to and entering the United States.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing.
- By September 27, 2023: Full refund minus $75 processing fee.
- September 28 and October 19, 2023: 50% refund.
- After October 20, 2023: No refunds will be issued.
Non-Transfer of Paid Registration Policy
AMIA has a Non-Transfer Policy in which paid registrations are non-transferable to another person or to another AMIA meeting.
Payment
Online registration is for credit card payments only. If you would like to pay by check, purchase order, or wire transfer (please include additional $25 for the wire transfer bank fees), mail the registration form to the AMIA office.
Photography and Videography Policy
All filming, taping, recording, live streaming in any medium including via the use of tripod-based equipment or mobile devices, of the AMIA 2023 Annual Symposium is prohibited, except as allowed with the written consent of AMIA. Only the official AMIA Photographer/Videographer and properly credentialed press are allowed to take videos of exhibits, exhibitor spaces, or any Symposium programming. Those found taking videos will be asked to provide proof of approved press credentials.
Consent to Use Photographic Images
Registration and participation in AMIA meetings and activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AMIA's use and distribution of the registrant or attendee's images or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio record such events and activities.
Special Accommodations for Registrants
Accommodations can be made for a variety of needs (breastfeeding, dietary, visual, hearing, mobility). Please contact the AMIA Meetings Team as early as possible to discuss your needs.
