WASHINGTON, DC (November 1, 2024) – Congratulations to the 2025 class of Fellows of the American Medical Informatics Association in the FAMIA Applied Informatics Recognition Program. A committee of 66 reviewers selected the 87 Fellows who will join a community of 579 current FAMIA inductees.

FAMIA recognizes AMIA member professionals who apply informatics skills and knowledge towards the goals of enhanced personal and population health, improved organizational performance and learning, and individual empowerment in healthcare. Fellows apply informatics skills and knowledge within their professional setting, demonstrate professional achievement and leadership, and contribute to the betterment of AMIA.

“AMIA is proud to recognize this seventh cohort of FAMIA inductees,” said Kate Fultz Hollis, MS, MBA, FAMIA, Chair of the FAMIA Executive Committee. “These unique professionals bring so much value to our industry through the application of their informatics knowledge and also through their sustained commitment to the betterment of AMIA itself.”

A formal induction ceremony will be held at the AMIA 2025 Clinical Informatics Conference May 20-22 in Anaheim, CA.
