Dr. Mendonca is Associate Professor with Tenure in Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at University of Wisconsin Madison with over 90 peer-reviewed articles. Throughout her academic career, she has made contributions in developing novel language-driven approaches and automated learning methods to support clinical decision making; automatically extracting biomedical data from patient's records, and creating new ways to integrate evidence into clinical practice.
