2026 ACMI Speed Networking Mixer
Open to all students, trainees, early career professionals, and ACMI Fellows.
The American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI) is a community of nationally recognized leaders whose contributions have helped shape biomedical and health informatics. ACMI Fellows include innovators, researchers, educators, clinicians, and industry leaders who are advancing the future of healthcare and informatics.

The ACMI Speed Networking Mixer offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with these distinguished leaders in a welcoming, informal setting. Rather than a traditional large networking reception, this interactive event brings students, trainees and early-career professionals together with ACMI Fellows in small discussion groups, creating meaningful opportunities for conversation, mentorship, and connection.

Through a series of brief rotations, you’ll meet ACMI Fellows and fellow attendees, explore diverse career paths, discuss emerging trends and innovations, and gain insights from leaders across academia, healthcare, government, and industry. Whether you’re exploring career options, looking for advice, or simply hoping to expand your professional network, this event offers an exceptional opportunity to engage with some of the most respected voices in the field.
Students and early career professionals consistently describe the Speed Networking Mixer as one of the most valuable networking opportunities at the Symposium. Come prepared to ask questions, share your interests, and make connections that can support and inspire you throughout your career.

This event is ideal for those who want to:

  • Build meaningful professional relationships
  • Gain career advice and mentorship from ACMI Fellows
  • Learn about diverse career paths in biomedical and health informatics
  • Expand their professional network in a fun, informal environment

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet, learn from, and connect with ACMI Fellows in a small-group setting designed for conversation, connection, and inspiration.
