Ice Breakers

Two Truths and a Lie

Put on your acting hats! Participants will think of three statements about themselves, two being true and one being false. They will share their three statements, and the rest of the group must guess which statement is the lie.

Examples of statements for inspiration:

  • How many siblings you have
  • If you’ve ever been on TV
  • Your favorite movie/tv show/food
  • Any hidden talents
  • Places you’ve traveled

  • Would you rather be able to fly or read minds?
  • Would you rather be able to speak with animals or speak every language in the world?
  • Would you rather go into the past and meet your ancestors or go into the future and meet your great-great-grandchildren?
  • Would you rather live at the top of a tall NYC apartment building or at the top of a mountain?
  • Would you rather sing like an opera star or cook like a gourmet chef?
  • Would you rather fly a plane or drive a boat?
  • Would you rather go deep-sea diving or bungee jumping?
  • Would you rather give a toast at a wedding or give a graduation speech?
