Join ACMI colleagues for an engaging four-day retreat designed to foster collaboration on key informatics topics and make connections with fellow ACMI members. The theme of the retreat is Charting the Future of ACMI with a focus on exciting opportunities, new ideas, and moving our field forward!
The retreat will begin on Thursday evening with an island themed welcome reception. Throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you'll participate in focused sessions and discussions during the mornings, with afternoons reserved for continuing discussions and networking. The group dinner will be held on Friday night and we will again have a planned social activity for the group.

El Yunque Rainforest Nature and River Experience

Immerse yourself in the lush beauty of Puerto Rico's iconic rainforest. This guided tour includes a scenic hike through El Yunque's Angelito trail, opportunities to swim in refreshing natural pool, Yokahu observation tower for a 360 view and a visit to a picturesque waterfall for pictures. New addition: This tour now includes a stop at El Portal Visitor Center, where the group will have the unique opportunity to meet the endangered Puerto Rico parrot in its exhibit at the Visitor Center.
