Important Update: 2022 ACMI Winter Symposium

Dear Fellows,

Recently we announced the postponement of the ACMI Winter Symposium due to our concern for the health of our communities impacted by COVID-19 and continue to be attentive to the safety of all.

We are pleased to announce the date for the spring in-person meeting:

New date: ACMI 2022 Winter Symposium, April 28 – May 1, 2022, Scottsdale, Arizona.

We realize the date change may cause inconvenience and hope you will make every effort to attend this important gathering of thought leaders and health professionals. The COVID-19 pandemic challenged our public health system and exposed gaps in its informatics infrastructure. Problems, such as the lack of interoperability between clinical and public health systems have contributed to the difficulties. Your participation in this meeting is critical to addressing problems and proposing solutions and we hope you will join us in April.

Managing Registration and Reservations

  • If you were previously registered, you have been registered for the new meeting and you will receive a confirmation letter.
  •  Hotel reservations are managed directly with the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Please contact the hotel to rebook your initial reservation. We sincerely regret the inconvenience.
  • If you are unable to attend due to the date change, please contact Dasha Cohen, Director of Meetings, dasha@amia.org or 301-657-5902 for a full refund.

We remain concerned about the safety, health, and well-being of our entire community – colleagues, practitioners, and patients as well as friends and family members. Our planning continues to be guided by the AMIA Conferencing Policies for Public Health and Safety.

Join us in Scottsdale for a meeting of great minds and great people.

Sincerely,

2022 ACMI Program Planning Committee Co-Chairs
