The Philanthropy Committee leads the ongoing development and activities of the LEAD Fund and reports directly to the AMIA Board of Directors. The LEAD Fund is an initiative focused on creating a robust and sustainable fundraising program for AMIA that will support important programming that can:

  • Promote diversity in terms of our membership.
  • Support trainee engagement in AMIA events.
  • Develop a future generation of AMIA leaders through awards/recognition programs.
  • Allow current informatics professionals to "pay it forward" and help grow the community.
