The purpose of the AMIA Empowerment, Engagement and Representation Committee is to develop, promote, and guide the implementation of strategic and operational goals related to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion for all members as it relates to AMIA’s activities. The E2R Committee engages cross-organizationally to collaborate on program development, education content, leadership development, and mentoring events that are open to all members.  The E2R Committee engages in such activities with specific attention to AMIA’s mission and its intersection with the strategic values of scientific integrity, impact, and inclusivity and collaboration.
