About ACIF
The AMIA Clinical Informatics Fellows (ACIF) community brings together physicians who are completing or have completed clinical informatics fellowship training, as well as those interested in pursuing the subspecialty. The community supports engagement through peer connection, leadership opportunities, and access to resources that advance professional development in clinical informatics.
Clinical informatics is an ABMS-recognized subspecialty focused on improving healthcare through the effective use of data and technology. Physician informaticians design, implement, and evaluate clinical information systems to enhance the quality, safety, and outcomes of care, while supporting the integration of emerging technologies into clinical practice.
