The certification is issued by the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA)’s Health Informatics Certification Commission. The ACHIP Directory serves as a primary source of verification and meets accreditation compliance requirements.
It is designed to be used by employers, licensing agencies and the general public to verify that an individual has satisfied and maintained the requirements of the AMIA Health Informatics Certification program and successfully passed the certification exam.
