The LFAC leads the ongoing development and activities of the LEAD Fund and reports directly to the AMIA Board of Directors. The LEAD Fund is an initiative focused on creating a robust and sustainable fundraising program for AMIA that will support important programming that can:
- Promote diversity in terms of our membership.
- Support trainee engagement in AMIA events.
- Develop a future generation of AMIA leaders through awards/recognition programs.
- Allow current informatics professionals to "pay it forward" and help grow the community.
