Inclusive Language and Contact Style Guidelines
Developed in partnership with Columbia University’s Justice Informatics Group, these guidelines promote respectful and accurate scientific communication. They help de-stigmatize language and ensure inclusivity in research and publications.
Journals
E2R supports evidence-based research that advances health equity in informatics. JAMIA, JAMIA Open and ACI include peer-reviewed publications authored by AMIA members and collaborators, including work on inclusive language, health data ethics, and workforce diversity.
