We designed a Question Answering (QA) system capable of answering ad-hoc questions about the COVID-19 disease, its causal virus SARS-CoV-2, and the recommended response to the pandemic.

Machine learning (ML) has the potential to facilitate "continual learning" in medicine, in which an ML system continues to evolve in response to exposure to new data over time, even after being deployed in a clinical setting.
