AMIA Joins Multisociety Call to Protect NIH Research Funding

AMIA joined more than 500 organizations in urging Congress to provide $51.3 billion for the National Institutes of Health in FY 2027 and ensure appropriated funds are used as intended. The coalition warns that funding disruptions, grant delays, and workforce instability threaten biomedical research, scientific innovation, and future medical breakthroughs.
