Public Policy Priority Data Sharing in Research
Statement Type Regulatory Comment

AMIA and the NIWG submitted comments in response to the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI’s) request for comments about its draft National Priorities for Research and Research Agenda. PCORI was created to fund research that will give patients, caregivers, and clinicians more information to support health care decisions. AMIA thanked PCORI for providing an open comment period to solicit input and expressed concerns about the need for more details and greater specificity about the proposed strategy and focus.
