AMIA is an organization of more than 5,500 members who improve and advance health care every day as researchers, physicians, nurses, public health professionals, scientists. There is no place in our nation for racism and racial inequities. We know our community is hurting. There is a broken system in place. And while it is in our nature as health and healthcare professionals to want to solve complex problems and find cures, we are unable to heal this wound. Solving the problem will take all of us. What is broken needs to be fixed. We are stronger together. We will move forward as one united community to continue to advance health care for every individual.
