Public Biography
I am a third-year PhD candidate in the Health Infrastructures & Learning Systems program in the Department of Learning Health Sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School. My background is in clinical informatics, with a focus evaluating the implementations of clinical decision support (CDS) tools.

My doctoral research seeks to apply a learning health systems approach to improving the implementation and refinement of CDS tools. I focus on using mixed methods approaches to leverage real-world CDS use data and clinician insights to inform targeted strategies for reducing alert fatigue while preserving patient safety. My work integrates concepts from decision science, human factors, and implementation science to examine how clinician decision-making, cognitive workload, and organizational context shape engagement with CDS alerts. Ultimately, my goal is to translate these insights into actionable strategies for refining CDS alerts and workflows within routine clinical practice.
