Born November 23, 1923, graduated Phillips Academy Andover, 1942. MD, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, 1947. Clinical Professor Pediatrics, Columbia University Medical Center until 1975. First director, medical data processing at Columbia and pioneer in field. President, American Association of Medical Systems and Informatics (AAMSI). VP of Medical Affairs, Danbury Hospital in Connecticut until 1990.
