Since obtaining her PhD from MIT in 1994, Dr. Leong has established a major track record in research, education, academics and service in health and biomedical informatics in Singapore, Asia and internationally. She is currently an Associate Professor and Vice Dean. As a productive researcher and innovator, she has contributed substantially to the advancement of applied and theoretical clinical decision support technologies in biomedical informatics and computer science. She is Associate Editor of Methods of Information in Medicine and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, and serving on the editorial board of the Journal of Biomedical Informatics.
