Public Biography
Dr. Rotholz attended medical school at the University of Arizona and residency at George Washington University. He has been in the active practice of obstetrics and gynecology for 30 years and delivered over 7000 babies. His work as a system physician informaticist for UC Health in the last seven years has afforded him the opportunity to impact efficiency and the quality of care across multiple specialties and facilities across his health system.
Dr. Rotholz current projects include standardization of all inpatient order sets across the UCHealth system and as a physician leader for the UC Health Epic Sprint optimization team.

Public Policy Committee
Member
The committee recommends advocacy issues and activities and identifies critical areas for AMIA's strategic advocacy engagement for Board approval. The committee works with AMIA’s policy consultant, staff, and Board to develop annual work plans which support the strategic directions set by the Board. The committee works with the staff in developing and reviewing draft submissions in response to requests for comments in support of AMIA positions and helps prepare position papers on matters of public policy.
