Public Biography
Dr. Rotholz attended medical school at the University of Arizona and residency at George Washington University and has been in the active practice of obstetrics and gynecology for 32 years in both private practice and academic environments. His work as a system physician informaticist for UC Health included leadership of the Ambulatory Sprint Optimization Program as well as leading the system-wide order set standardization project providing the opportunity to impact efficiency and the quality of care across multiple specialties and facilities across the healthcare system. Other responsibilities beyond clinical work included Chairmanship of the OBGYN service line from 2015-2023. Recent return to full-time academic work includes being named Interim Director, Division of Academic Specialists in OBGYN as well as Director of the new Program for data science and AI in OBGYN
