Public Biography
Sean Hernandez is a hospitalist, board-certified clinical informaticist and adjunct professor of general internal medicine. He is also a member of the Center for Healthcare Innovation at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He was part of the inaugural class of the Clinical Scholars in Informatics Pathway during his training in the Internal Medicine Residency at Wake Forest. He is a physician builder with training in data analytics and data visualization. His work interests include optimizing clinical decision support to improve clinical practice and decrease physician burnout. He loves being outdoors with his wife and two small children. He also enjoys reading, gardening, and speed cubing (Rubik’s cube).
