Scott Nelson is a pharmacist and clinical informatician whose work spans academic and applied informatics. He reduced medication alerts by 50%, built EHR-embedded predictive models for medication reconciliation, pioneered AI, LLM, and algorithmovigilance applications in CDS, co-chaired AMIA CIC, and leads informatics education locally and nationally.
