Public Biography
Dr. Long is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine, in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn). He is also the founding Director of the Center for Cancer Data Science, and Associate Director of the Penn Institute for Biomedical Informatics at Penn. He is an elected Fellow of AAAS, ASA, ISI and AMIA.
