Public Biography
Nicole G. Weiskopf, PhD, is Associate Professor of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology at Oregon Health & Science University. Her research focuses on enabling the valid reuse of electronic health record data for research and quality improvement efforts. She has contributed to the development of data quality assessment frameworks and methods. Her current work extends epidemiological approaches to causal inference in order to understand clinical data-generating mechanisms and resulting biases that may threaten the validity of findings drawn from electronic health record data.
