Public Biography
I am a translational researcher focusing on mining Electronic Health Records to find novel disease relationships and to understand the nuances of disease risk. My primary focus is on the prenatal / perinatal period and investigating environmental exposures (pharmacologics, climate variance, pollution, etc.) and the role these exposures plays in disease risk. I also investigate pharmacoepi related effects of pharmacological exposures during pregnancy on later maternal and fetal disease risk. I have been a member of AMIA continuously for the past 15 years (2010-current) have published over 85 peer-reviewed manuscripts and authored a textbook on health analytics (https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-74383-2)
