Luke Rasmussen, MS

My background is in software development, specifically within the healthcare domain, with the most recent 15 years focused on the support of biomedical informatics. In this time, I have supported researchers at multiple institutions by providing novel software applications to further their areas of study. I have a particular interest in the field of electronic health record (EHR)-based phenotype development, where I have collaborated in the development and application of standards-based software architecture to create portable phenotypes. In addition, I have explored commonalities between research and clinical quality and demonstrated the application of standards and technologies across these domains. I have additional interests in integrating genomic information into the EHR, as well as reproducible research, security, and privacy.
