Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Samal is a prominent clinician and applied informatician. She has created strong connections between internal medicine and informatics, publishing in top journals and serving in leadership positions in both fields. Dr. Samal led several highly cited publications addressing EHR shortcomings and the ineffectiveness of federal health information technology policy.
