Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Kai Wang has transformed genomic medicine by creating widely adopted informatics tools and analytical frameworks for variant interpretation and phenotype-driven gene discovery. His innovations, e.g., ANNOVAR, InterVar, Phenolyzer, and EHR-Phenolyzer, have enabled researchers and clinicians to convert complex genomic and phenotypic data into actionable biomedical insights and improved patient care.
