Joe is an accomplished executive with broad experience leading the commercialization of emerging technologies. As CEO of PeraHealth, Inc, Joe leads an organization dedicated to applying state-of-the-art analytical and informatics methods and tools to help healthcare organizations address pressing operational needs and support front-line clinicians in more effectively engaging with patient data to deliver ever higher quality care. Joe's expertise in the real-world applications of novel technologies spans diverse fields and he has published widely on medical predictive analytics, quantum electrodynamics, opto-electronics, neural engineering, and fluid mechanics, and holds a patent in high-bandwidth optical data routing. His work in healthcare informatics has received accolades and awards from the American Medical Informatics Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He earned an ScB from Brown University, an MBA from Carleton University, and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he was a National Science Foundation Research Fellow.
