Fernando MartÌn-S·nchez, Ph.D., FACMI, FACHI, CHIA, MIAHSI, is a tenured Research Professor at the Department of Digital Health and Biomedical Informatics of the National Institute of Health of Spain ¥Carlos III¥. Prof Martin-S·nchez worked as Full Professor at the Division of Health Informatics of Weill Cornell Medicine (New York) from Dec 2015 to June 2017. Prior to this, he was Chair and Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Melbourneís Medical School (2011-2015) and founding Director of its Health and Biomedical Informatics Centre (HaBIC). He is a biomedical informatics scientist with a career developed across the United States, Spain, and Australia. His research focuses on informatics methods in participatory health, environmental health, precision medicine, and translational research.
