A physician-scientist and AMIA community member since 2010, Colin Walsh leads an internationally recognized program in applied predictive modeling notably for stigmatized, rare events in mental health. His suicide prevention program and his JAMIA Editor's Choice research predicting opioid overdose have informed the national dialogue on these public health crises.
