Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Athey was Principal Investigator of one of the first 7 NIH National Centers for Biomedical Computing, the National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics (NCIBI) (2005-2012). He is co-founder since 2013 of the tranSMART Foundation; the tranSMART code base is a platform for integrative biomedical informatics analysis with data shared worldwide by corporate and academic members.
