Public Biography
Anoop Mayampurath, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He earned his PhD in Informatics with a minor in Statistics from Indiana University. Before joining UW–Madison, he served as a Senior Scientist and Research Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Mayampurath is an NIH-funded clinical informatician and data scientist who co-leads the ICU Data Science Lab at UW–Madison. His research integrates electronic health record data with biostatistical and machine learning methods to develop tools for early detection of clinical deterioration and personalized intervention, thereby improving the care of critically ill patients.
