Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Valenta is an internationally recognized leader in defining competencies and accreditation standards in health informatics, quality and safety. She has been instrumental in creating ground-breaking training programs in health informatics; defining competencies and creating a unique curriculum in interprofessional practice for both informaticians and clinicians; and exploring social and behavioral issues of health information technology.
