Alexis L. Rossi, PhD, Med, MA, is the Director of MedBiquitous at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Dr. Rossi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, overseeing initiatives that advance the use of technology and data in health professions education and healthcare. Her leadership in MedBiquitous is instrumental in developing and implementing standards that improve the quality and interoperability of health professions education data, as well as supporting innovation and implementation in areas such as AI and competency-based education.
Prior to joining the AAMC, Dr. Rossi held various academic, administrative and leadership positions in higher education, medical education and industry, where she focused on strategic decision-making and program development, enhancing educational outcomes, addressing health disparities and integrating innovative technologies. Her extensive background and collaborative spirit, combined with her commitment to advancing the health professions, has positioned her as a respected leader and colleague.
