Historic ACMI Biography
Adela develops informatics solutions that empower patients, focusing on those excluded from research. She developed and evaluated an open-source, bilingual electronic consent-based granular data-sharing tool and a personalized diabetes management program. She is a leader in WIA and hosts a podcast to increase justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in informatics.
