Public Biography
Adam Rule is an assistant professor in the Information School at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he is also an honorary associate in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, affiliate faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine, and affiliate faculty in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. After receiving a PhD in Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego Dr. Rule completed post-doctoral training in Medical Informatics at Oregon Health and Science University. His training was supported by the National Library of Medicine and his recent research has been funded by the American Medical Association. Dr. Rule’s research spans the domains of health informatics and human-computer interaction and examines how primary care teams interact with electronic health records.
