Academic Forum Mission Statement
The mission of the Academic Forum is to promote equitable and better health outcomes by supporting academic member programs to advance professionalism through excellence in biomedical and health informatics education, research, and practice.
The Forum convenes throughout the year and is governed by an executive committee. There are five specialized communities that make up The Forum and each community is represented by an ex-officio seat on the executive committee. The Academic Forum and its communities follow the guidelines and policies noted in the Purpose, Policies and Procedures governance document.
