The AMIA 2021 Annual Symposium Awards and LEAD Gala is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the amazing talent within the AMIA informatics community as well as recognize the incoming class of ACMI Fellows. The Awards Gala program honors those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and professional achievement in informatics with the presentation of the AMIA 2021 Signature Awards and Leadership Awards, the recognition of the Doctoral Dissertation Awardees, and the ACMI class of 2021. The event is open to AMIA members, invited guests, and all Annual Symposium attendees.
We hope you will join us in celebrating the achievements of your colleagues and being back together in-person!
Cost
Tickets: $150
Tickets include award presentation, reception food and beverage and a $25 donation to LEAD.
We hope attendees consider an additional donation as part of the registration process if you are able to give more to support our trainee scholarship program.
Doors Open at 6:30 PM
Awards Presentation starts at 7:00 PM
Heavy hors d’oeuvres reception to directly follow awards presentation.

To sign up for the Awards Gala, please check the appropriate box under AMIA Annual Symposium Special Events on the online registration form.
If you have already registered for AMIA 2021 Annual Symposium, but would like to add the Awards Gala, please follow these instructions:
- Login to the Attendee Service Center with your AMIA login credentials
- Hover over the Attendee tab at the top of the page
- Click on Registration Upgrade
- Click on Edit
- Continue through the form and Select the AMIA 2021 Awards Gala under AMIA Annual Symposium Special Events
- Proceed through payment page
- Click on Complete Registration
