Vanderbilt’s Fellowship Program in Clinical Informatics is a 2-year program open to physicians who are ABMS board-certified or board-eligible in a primary specialty (e.g., internal medicine, anesthesiology, pathology, pediatrics, surgery, radiology, etc.) upon starting the fellowship. Through didactic and rotational training, the fellowship prepares trainees to master the core content set forth by the ACGME for the subspecialty of clinical informatics, acquire a complete understanding of the different domains of informatics and how they apply to the practice of clinical informatics, and be prepared to pass the board certification examination for the subspecialty in clinical informatics
