The University of Iowa’s Clinical Informatics Fellowship is a two‑year, ACGME‑accredited program designed to train physicians to lead digital transformation in healthcare. Fellows gain hands‑on experience in clinical systems design, data analytics, and digital innovation—while contributing to real‑world improvements in patient care.

Who Can Apply

  • Board‑eligible or board‑certified physicians of any specialty
  • Foreign Medical Graduates pursuing alternate pathway certifications
  • Ideal candidates have interest or background in informatics, engineering, data science, or systems improvement
