The University of Chicago offers a robust Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MScBMI) program that prepares students to lead at the intersection of data, technology, and healthcare. Biomedical informatics is an interdisciplinary field that harnesses data-driven approaches to improve clinical care, reduce health disparities, enhance decision-making, and shape clinical and scientific innovation. The one-year, fully remote MSBMI curriculum includes foundational coursework, electives, and a capstone experience focused on real-world applications of informatics methods. 

Students in the program gain expertise in areas such as bioinformatics, clinical informatics, and data analytics, while also building leadership, ethical, and technical skills needed to address complex healthcare challenges.
