The UNC Hospitals Clinical Informatics Fellowship provides robust training in the foundations of clinical Informatics coupled with personalized learning opportunities aligned with each fellow’s individual training and career goals. These opportunities include, but are not limited to, participation in clinical operations improvements, quality improvement and/or research studies, workflow redesign, new digital health tool assessments, and service as a Lead Informatics Physician. Fellows benefit from the rich and varied resources available through the healthcare system and the University of North Carolina (e.g., the Carolina Data Warehouse for Health and the NC Translational Clinical Science Institute).
