The Biomedical Informatics Training Program is an interdisciplinary graduate program, part of the Department of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University's School of Medicine. Our mission is to train future research leaders to design and implement novel quantitative and computational methods that solve challenging problems across the entire spectrum of biology and medicine. The program is flexible, and attracts applicants with training in biology, medicine, computer science, statistics, data science, engineering and related disciplines. Our faculty come from a wide range of departments, including Bioengineering, Biomedical Data Science, Computer Science, Genetics, Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Statistics.

The Academic MS degree is a full-time, on-campus, research-oriented program, and is for candidates with an interest in academic or research positions.
