The 25X5 Task Force will convene a network of allies and facilitate workstreams to execute a national strategy for implementing a reduction in the documentation burden and optimization of the Electronic Health Record (EHR). 

Current Openings

The 25X5 Task Force is seeking participation from a diverse group of AMIA members; student and individual members are all welcome to apply.  The task force is seeking approximately 10 members.

The task force is seeking volunteers to advance efforts via three workstreams:

  1. Providers and Health Systems
  2. Health IT Vendors
  3. Policy and Advocacy

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a strong knowledge base in health data systems, electronic health records, clinical documentation workflows and processes, and documentation burden reduction. Prior work experience in investigating or implementing documentation burden reduction strategies and streamlining processes would be valuable.

  • The first task force meeting is expected to be scheduled for late March/early April.
  • The task force will meet weekly.
