EHR Reporting Program Draft Measures

Under the 21st Century Cures Act, Congress mandated the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Reporting Program as part of new Conditions and Maintenance of Certification requirements under the ONC Health IT Certification Program. For the initial set of measures, ONC is focusing on interoperability, with an emphasis on patient access, clinical and public health information exchange, and standards adoption and conformance measures. The measures will be used to inform ONC’s future rulemaking to implement the EHR Reporting Program as a Conditions and Maintenance of Certification requirement for certified health IT products. NIH Issues RFI on Strategic Plan for DEI and Accessibility

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently issued a notice for input on the NIH-wide strategic plan for diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. Click here for details and instructions on how to comment. Comments due April 3.

White House OSTP Issues RFI on Equity In Treatment

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) seeks to develop digital health care services that emphasize equity in treatment. Specifically, OSTP seeks information and comments about how digital health technologies are used, or could be used in the future, to improve community health, individual wellness, and health equity. See the Federal Register notice for more information and instructions on how to comment. UPDATE: The OSTP has extended the comment deadline from February 28, until March 31.

OSTP Strategic Plan for AI

The White House OSTP recently issued a Request for Information to help shape the National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Strategic Plan. Click here for details. Comments due: March 4.

AHRQ National Web Conference
